We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand has the power to transform a nation
Who We Are
The Congolese Civil Society of South Africa was established in 2015 with an objective of societal transformation through social cohesion of Africans in South Africa, while preserving the history and culture of Africa through facilitation of integration programs and youth empowerment.
We are at the service of not only thousands of Congolese foreign nationals, but also countless Africans that share similar stories and hope to integrate into South African society.

Our Vision
- Advocating for the unification of Congolese and African communities regardless of beliefs, cultures and history.
- Researching the root cause behind large-scale displacement of Africans and the burden of the refugee system in the South African context
- Advocating for the legal rights of refugees according to the law.
- Empowering communities and leaders with knowledge and awareness surrounding foreign national habitation in South Africa
- Promoting efficient ”social cohesion” in South Africa by combating xenophobic acts and movements
- Advocating for climate change awareness

Our Mission
- Equipping ourselves with full knowledge of laws, constitutions and conventions surrounding Asylum seekers, Refugees and migrants living in South Africa through awareness, workshops and outreach programmes
- To empower vulnerable asylum seekers, refugees and migrants with knowledge on how to legalize their stay in South Africa by complying with Home Affairs’ extensive application process.
