about THE CCSSA's COMMUNITY SCHOOL INITIATIVE
Empowerment through
education
Through a variety of workshops and lessons hosted by the CCSSA, the Community School houses an objective of educating individuals and communities about the laws and regulations regarding lawful habitation in South Africa. Through these workshops, we aim to subsequently develop leadership and communication skills as trainees become well equipped to transition into trainers within their societies.
The main mission of this initiative is to influence positive changes in mixed-nationality communities, promote human rights values and peaceful cohabitation all while promoting the rights of refugees in according to the law of South Africa regarding refugees and asylum-seekers.

Workshops are free to attend and open to all individuals, regardless of their nationality, residing in South Africa.
Lessons take place at our Mowbray Campus in Cape Town, South Africa. Upon sign-up, attendees will be informed next cohort.
When do Workshops Occur ?
Sessions are typically hosted on Saturday mornings from 09h30 to 12h00
How long is the course ?
Workshops typically run over the course of 2 months. ALL sessions must be attended in order to obtain certification of completion.
